A standard SBA 7(a) loan lets a qualified buyer acquire a business for up to $5M — often with as little as 10% cash down, with the SBA guarantee carrying the rest.
As of July 2026, the Trump administration's SBA doubled the ceiling: the real estate can now ride on a separate SBA 504 loan for up to another $5M — a combined $10M of SBA-backed financing on a single deal. For the first time you can buy the business and the building it operates in, together, for a fraction of the cash a conventional deal demands.
Many TYMBR sellers will carry a note for part — or all — of the down payment. Placed on standby behind the SBA loan, a seller carry can shrink your cash-in to a sliver of the purchase price. We help negotiate it.
For larger checks, partial buyouts, or roll-ups, TYMBR brings in private-equity partners and private lenders who invest alongside our buyers. If the business is real, we find the capital.
